    Ree,
Love this recipe and enjoyed watching you make it. Have used it for years. Kind of like eggs and french toast combined.
It's so simple and a definite keeper in ones recipe box. YUM!!! 8-

Made this right after I saw your show this morning - short on time but hungry. This was SO QUICK and easy to make...my husband was amazed that I had time to make him breakfast before running out the door. This will be my new 'go to' breakfast before heading to work since I can set it up and have it plated in 5 minutes! Thank you, Ree, for reminding me of an old childhood favorite (and you're right - those bread cut outs are the BEST!. Oh, and if you love cheese like we do, add a thin slice or some grated cheese to the top after you flip it!

I have made these for years. My son loves them. Try putting a slice of ham, sausage, salsa or what you like on top.

So tasty and easy to make. I found it easier to toast both sides of bread before adding the egg. If not the bread isn't toasted enough for our liking.

This has always been a family favorite, but I never thought to toast the middle piece in butter. It was so great and we always eat it that way now. Thanks
