I made this recipe and we love it!! I made it the second time for New Year's Eve and the whole family love it. My brother asked me for the recipe, which I translated for him in Spanish. Delicious and easy!!!

Very easy to prepare and the pot roast was delicious. Will probably make it at least once a month for Sunday supper.

Great recipe. Very easy. I added potatoes and that made it more filling. Will definitely make again!

I saw this episode of Pioneer Woman and I figured I would try this recipe out on my pork roast and it turned out to be absolutely amazing...the best pork roast I have EVER made! It was so moist and flavorful that I could not stop eating it...seriously!

Sooooo yummy!! Followed the recipe except I added extra carrots and onion's. Red wine is the secret something. You know you did good when the hubby brags at work the next day about how good his dinner was. I love PW recipes!!

This pot roast is amazing! My family loves it and when say that i mean it. I've tried other recipes for cooking a roast and none of them can compare to this one.

This is a good recipe for pot roast, but not the best I've made. The meat was definitely tender, but the broth was way too thin. Perhaps making a gravy like the previous reviewer suggested is a good idea. I, too, served this with mashed potatoes but was disappointed that pouring the broth over the potatoes thinnned the potatoes out too much. This dish needs a real gravy.

I cook alot and have never written a review. Now this one I just had to write. It was easy and wonderful. I cut up vegetables night before. When I got up I browned and put in oven. My husband took it out of oven. I made a gravy by taking out some liquid and adding a cold smooth flour mixture. Cooked till it got perfect. Served it over meat and mashed potatoes. Fabulous. I have made pot roast forever. Always good but not as easy as this one. Everyone needs to try this one. Vegetables great because cut up large and doesn't get mushy. Everyone needs to try it and go by the recipe. I didn't use wine. Fabulous. I am picky.
