I love them. My boyfriend loves them. My family loves them. Granted, there's not a strong malt taste, but my cookies came out really soft and chewy- and they tasted even better the next day! I used the original malt powder (by Carnation but would like to try the chocolate as well, maybe even experiment and cut the chocolate chips out of it.

I will definitely be making these cookies again.

Very tasty, my children loved them. We used Ovaltine instead of just malted milk they turned out great.

"Awesomely awesome!" was what my 9-year old son said. I followed the directions exactly, but panicked when I didn't have the milk chocolate chips. Semi-sweet worked perfectly! I used Ovaltine malt powder for the malt. It was a little hard to tell when they were done - I really wanted that crisp/chew factor - but after one time I got the timing down. This will now be a regular cookie in our house.

I expected a stronger malt flavor, so I was initially disappointed with these. Then I realized I couldn't stop eating them! They're my new favorite chocolate-chip cookie. They're chewy and buttery and so delicious. I'm making them again today.

The cookies were good, but didn't spread out like they showed in the picture. My baking powder was outdated, so possibly that was the problem. Also used semi sweet chips instead of milk chocolate. Will try them again and see what happens. Also they were crispy, not chewy.

These are the best chocolate chip cookies! They taste good either over or under baked. I made the full recipe, formed them into dough balls on a cookie sheet and froze them. Take them out 3 or 4 at a time and bake in my toaster oven...warm cookies whenever needed.

These were great. Love the flavor the malted milk brings and they're nice and chewy!

Super chewy and delicious! My cookies only baked for 7 minutes, so watch them closely!

    Everyone loves them!

Very thin, very chewy, and very yummy! The malted milk powder adds a little something extra but doesn't completely take over the show, which I like. The batch was gone with in a couple of days and they never became hard. Maybe next time I'll try a little less butter and a tad more flour and hopefully they won't be paper thing. All in all, great recipe.
