    I made these for breakfast with plain scrambled eggs & fruit salad. If you use regular bacon I would suggest omitting the salt like I did. There's plenty of salt in the bacon & cheddar cheese. And I added little more milk & turned the heat down to low & simmered longer even though I used the quick grits. It allowed for a creamier texture.

    This recipe was pretty good, concidering I don't even like grits. I read on the other review that it came out salty. Therfore I cut this recipe in half just to try it and added reg. 2% chedder cheese and low sodium bacon. Came out good. If you like grits you will really like it:

    I made this for breakfast this morning and it was very good, but a little to salty. I think the bacon was so salty that the added salt was too much.
