OMG...I made this for my Nieces birthday party. What a hit!!! My brother-in-law said the Gruyere rolls were just a meer condouit for the sauce!!! I sub'ed the pecans for almonds...that's what I had in my fridge. What an awesome recipe!!!

Love love love this recipe! Made it exactly as written, was great. The sauce was super easy and would go well with lots of things, I thought my boyfriend was going to eat all of the sauce before the rolls were done!

I followed the recipe as written and loved it.
The smoked cheese pared very well with the pear and the pecan salsa added an extra layer of depth.
Very original and easy. Thank you

This recipe was fantastic!! I made it for my niece who is flirting with being a vegetarian and she loved it. Used one less chile arbol so all could enjoy without all that heat.

Easy. I made this for 3 people. All of us really liked the pecan sauce. I might cut down the garlic.

These rolls were *amazing*. This is such a simple recipe but the flavors are so yummy. Even my picky teenager went back for seconds! Next time I need to take an appetizer somewhere I will make these and cut them into thirds to share. I made these for dinner tonight and we will be having them again soon! I might make the pecan salsa with one less ancho chile because they were so hot, but my heat loving family liked it just the way the recipe suggested.
