I think these are really good. My husband does too! I'm not sure what is up with "starfish123", but these turned out fine for me. If you live at high altitude flat cookies happen a lot if you don't add enough flour, but I didn't have to add any extra. I am making these with other cookies and treats for Xmas gifts. My only comment is that they turned out a little tart for my taste. I might reduce the cream of tartar by half. It could be that I used organic apple cider and organic dried apples which typically have more flavor. Delicious! It's a keeper!

Horrible recipe. More than six cookies cannot be placed on baking sheet (giant time waster as they spread out to paper-like thickness instantly (and yes we tried chilling dough. Burned edges and undone middle at several baking times. Thought it to be oven-related, but ours is nearly brand new and have not had this problem with any other cookie or baking use. Useless.
