DELICIOUS!!!!! The sauce is just right, light and tasty. I added half of a serrano pepper for some heat. This dish is a keeper.

OMG love this dish!!!!!! I am eating and reviewing at the same time. I did substitute crab meat for the lobster because that is what I had. It is wonderful and will make it again!!

Including my self I have to make a dinner that appeals to six people. This is a winner. I doubled the recipe since the quantity of servings was higher, and it still came out very well. If I had to make any changes I may not add the additional 2 tsp of salt, depending on how salty you make your lobster/pasta water. I heavily salt mine. Also, I wonder how this might taste with crab meat, and may make it for a bit of a cheaper go next time. All in all six people came to the table and cleaned six plates.

I made this for my boyfriend thats a very picky eater. We both love it. I made some changes. I had a hard time finding the clam juice. So i used chicken stock as the substitute. To save money we used the pkg lobster. I added one white onion and fresh mushrooms. I used one fresh tomato instead of the canned tomatoes. I wanted a thicker sauce so i added 2 tbsp of flour when adding all the ingredients to only half the bacon grease. I couldnt stand to use all the bacon grease. It was an explosion of great tastes! I put it down as a "keeper" recipe that ill make again. It has to be great to make it on my "keeper" list

Excellent, I have made this dish every other week without the lobster, but will use the lobster for New Years Eve. Did cut back on bacon and used half and half. A keeper, what's not to love with bacon? Thanks again for a great recipe!

This was our Christmas Eve dinner. Spectacular! I did follow other comments and used only a half pound of bacon. Thank you, Giada!

My husband gave me four and a half stars for this! Thanks Giada! Only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it was a little too salty for my taste. Next time I will look for "unsalted" diced canned tomatoes or use fresh tomatoes and will salt to taste. Also, I used packaged lobster instead of fresh and added cremini mushrooms instead of shrimp. The mushrooms added great flavor and the packaged lobster saved on time and didn't hurt my wallet! I'm excited to try this again. Half the fun is finding ways to make it your own.
