I think that this was a very good cake. I added a little more brown sugar. The icing is the bomb. I will make again!

Wow! Awesome flavor and so simple and easy to prepare! Hubby and teen sons LOVED it! They are not sweet eaters but ate this one up! I didn't read the directions fully and put all the yogurt in the mix and it didn't need a topping anyway...yum! I didn't have plain yogurt so I used what I had and that was key lime. Didn't make a difference at all but the cake was so moist. Will make it again ...real soon!

AMAZING!! I made this today,I made cupcakes because I do not own a blunt cake mold. I was a little worried about the taste because of the reviews but it was too late they were already in the oven. They are DELICIOUS!! Love the texture, the taste, they are not sweet but I was not expecting something sweet. I was thinking more like a corn muffins ....They delivered...

My nephew and I both liked this recipe. Whilst we agree the texture is not what one would expect in a cake,it is not unpleasant. We agreed it wasnt "cake" sweet, which is fine with us. More like a sweet cornbread with carmel undertones from the brownsugar. We particularly liked the yogurt topping...will make again..

I did try this. Even with the other reviews comments. I should of just not tried. It was exactly like they said. Will look for a different recipe for this.

I followed the recipe precisely and unfortunately was very disappointed. It wasn't nearly sweet enough. I had hoped the cornmeal would give it texture but you could taste the grit of the cornmeal. Even with modifications, I wouldn't try it again.
