I made these in individual trifle dishes and served them for breakfast to weekend guests. Once assembled, the trifles didn't sit for more than 15 minutes so the granola was still crunchy. Everyone liked them and really didn't need anything else besides coffee. That surprised me. I'll definitely serve these again!

i made this for my co-workers and they loved it! I, on the other hand, just liked it. The flavor was awesome, but the texture of the granola after being refrigerated was too mushy. My co-workers liked the texture. They liked the cooked oatmeal texture with a cool temperature. I would attempt it again though.

Be sure to buy the store brand of oatmeal instead of the kind most of us associate with anything oats. You will be shocked at the difference in price for plain rolled oats, more than double at my Kroger store.
