    BIG HIT! Made this for Sunday dinner today even though I was not a brussel sprout fan. This recipe changed my mind. I did not add walnuts as we are allergic. I added a 'pat' of butter & a pinch of sugar to offset the bitterness, it was amazing. Will be a regular side dish! Thanks Pat & Gina

    I will be honest, I liked this recipe, not loved. But since I am not a fan of brussel sprouts, that is a great recommendation. I actually used frozen brussel sprouts because the fresh ones always look so brown in okc. I don't think it made much difference. I thawed them some and cut off some stems. Made the rest the same. Will try again with fresh when in season.

    We loved this on our Thanksgiving table yesterday! I doubled the recipe to ensure we had leftovers after our company. Thanks so much for the recipe. I've never been able to cook this veggie and like the outcome, but I just knew the addition of bacon fat would turn me into a fan. Now we're all fans!

    My daughter loves Brussel Sprouts so I decided to make this recipe last thanksgiving. Who would have thought that they would be the first dish to be devoured. It was the favorite dish of the whole meal! I have been asked to bring it again this year! FABULOUS recipe!

    Delish! My husband's been trying to convince me that brussel sprouts can be tasty, well consider me converted!

    Who would have thought? DELICIOUS brussel sprouts!! Even my husband who does not like most cooked vegaetables, raved about these! I used pine nuts instead of walnuts just becasue I'm not a walnut lover. A definite keeper !!

    My husband loves brussels sprouts and has been trying to win me over to enjoy them as well. I saw this recipe and thought I would try them, they are fantastic!! I have made them several times and they turn out delicious every time. Gina and Pat never let me down, always simple recipes that turn out great!

    These Brussels sprouts are delicious! I did add a bit of butter because the bacon drippings didn't seem to be enough after a few minutes of cooking. I can't wait to make this again. Just a super tasty dish!

    I really like this recipe; it was delicious! The only change I made was to add 2 tablespoons of butter.
