I used maple syrup instead of the brown sugar. Forgot the cayenne. Husband loved it. It was good for me,too.

Holy Crap! Not only was this the easiest dish to make it tasted fantastic! Next time I will add a little more of the cayenne pepper though. I added a slice of Alton Brown's Praline Bacon to the top of the sweet potato. This recipe is available through this website. Do not wait to make this side dish for the holidays!

These were OK, but a little too sweet for me. The one thing I would change is to add the pecans to the potato mixture and skip the brown sugar on top of the potatoe.

This is so yummy! Totally delicious and even satisfied my sweet tooth, I'm not big on super sweet and this was just right. Making it again for Christmas at the request of the family.

This recipe is delicious! This will be our new Thanksgiving standard. Wonderful flavor without being ooey-gooey sweet. Followed the ingredients exactly, but instead of filling the potato skins, put the filling into a baking dish. Easy & yummy!

This was awesome! Brown sugar Splenda was used in place of the regular brown sugar and served to group of non- sweet potato lovers and diabetics to rave reviews. This is a keeper!

These are incredible! I've made a very similar variation for several yrs. that I found in a deli with prepared salads, etc. I brought 2 home & have made them since. There are some in the oven now for Thanksgiving dinner. I called the deli where I first got them since mine seemed to be missing something in the potato mixture(I'm not a spicy eater so peppers are left out! The chef asked me if I remembered to add the block of cream cheese into the potato mixture, & told him I knew it was missing something. He said to add the same amt. of cream cheese as butter. Once I did that, they were just like the ones from the deli. YUM!!

Absolutely fantastic, and very easy to make! I used normal sweet potatoes, all about the same size. Make sure you pick ones that will stand up on a sheet tray without rolling over.
