Great idea with the falafel mix and the chicken but try tzatziki instead of hummus, I find hummus (which I love to be a bit heavy with the falafel mix. Then stuff the pita with the chicken, coleslaw, sliced cucumber and some fresh mint. So tasty!

I made homemade hummus and harissa, and it was fabulous! I did add some salt and pepper like others have suggested, husband loved it, so a it's a keeper:

I love both falafel and hummus so thought I would give this recipe a try. I used sriracha for the heat (one teaspoon was perfect and lemon flavored hummus which had just the right amount of lemon flavor. Some of the reviews said the dressing wasn't flavorful, so I added a little bit of salt and pepper which helped. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. I dont think the pita was necessary, but will use it for lunch tomorrow as a pita wrap with all the left overs. I will definitely make this again!

This recipe was definitely tasty (after I made some adjustments.
I doubled the amount of chili paste in the hummus sauce (could barely taste the listed amount and I also added garlic to the hummus sauce to keep it from being so bland.
With the adjustments I made, this recipe was definitely tasty, spicy and filling!
I will most likely make again!

YUM! What a refreshing spin on chicken! Haven't had falafel since my college days in Rhode Island and I had forgotten how flavorful it is. Forgot to get the pita's so I just put the chicken on a bed of the slaw and it was delicious. Substituted with red pepper hummus and sweet chili sauce. Will definitely be making this recipe again and baking chicken strips like this more often. Thank you!

This recipe was a win because it is an innovative way to use falafel mix. That is definitely something I will keep in my repertoire as a quick easy flavorful chicken recipe. I also did not add extra lemon because i homemade my hummus and I put lemon juice in there. I used Sriracha as the heat but added a little too much - it had a KICK! I also used storebought broccoli slaw which was a little hardier and more nutrients. YUM - will definitely make this again.

This was a great recipe. I did not use the thinly sliced chicken, I used some thicker cuts and cooked them for 15 minutes. They turned out very juicy and tender. I also put Cayenne pepper in the Falafel mix. It gave it a little more snap. The only other thing I would change would be to tone down the lemon. Use half of what the recipe calls for.

This is a great quick weeknight meal. We've made it twice now. I've cut the amount of lemon back to just 1/2 a lemon juiced and everyone liked it much better. I didn't have radishes the second time and it didn't make much difference to the taste. A unique twist that makes the typical chicken dinner much more tasty and fun
