I made this dish last night and it turned out way better than I had thought it was going to turn out. I didn't have the seasoning so I tweaked it with some curry, ground cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and a few others. I couldn't have asked for a better dish for dinner and left overs. I will definitely be making this again.

It is rare I find a recipe on this site I don't like.... I love the ingredients and was excited to make this... It lacks flavor which is surprising, but if you are going to make this you really need to doctor it up.

Loved this dish! The combination of flavors in the sauce work well together. Always looking for ways to serve tilapia which my family will like and this fits the bill. Will definitely make again.

not very flavorful. needed acid or fat or something. maybe both. not spicy either and i added a whole pepper instead of just half. sounded amazing but i wont be making again without modifying recipe first.

I really liked this recipe, I made it with chicken instead of fish. My only disappointment was how thin the sauce was. Next time I will try to thicken it up somehow.

FAN-TAS-TIC! This recipe had GREAT flavor and was super easy to make! Family devoured it. Will definitely make again and again. I didn't have fresh ginger on hand, so I subbed dry and was still fantastic.

Delicious, easy and quick! Sauce has just enough kick to it without being too much. Fantastic weeknight meal. Served with rice cooked in low fat coconut milk and a little curry, and leftover cooked collards. Will make again.

WOW!!!! This is a great dish and perfect for a weeknight! I didn't have all of the ingredients in the house, so I made some pretty significant substitutions and it worked beautifully. I used italian parsley instead of cilantro and also added some ground coriander, about the same amount as the garam masala (I generally eye ball ingredients when cooking. I also threw in some blanched green beans (we are trying to limit cheap carbs - rice etc in with the fish when I put it in the oven, and sprinkled the finished dish with toasted slivered almonds. TDF (to die for! My 16 year old son LOVED IT. I will definitely add this dish to my repertoire!

This was a waste of fish but it was great on chicken. I even add 1/2 of an onion and 4 garlic cloves to the coconut milk there just was not much flavor in the fish. I will not make this again

I made this for my family tonight and my husband gobbled it up! It was so delicious and fresh with just a hint of spice from the jalapeno. Unfortunately, my 3 year old was not a fan but I blame the fish for that. I will definitely be making this again for my husband and myself. It was so quick and easy, too!
