I cut everything in half and used bagged coleslaw mix. Too wet so I added 1/4 cup mayo & it helped. Not a bad recipe.

This is yummy!I wished I had used half a head of red cabbage and more green. Adding the cilantro it's spicy and great with the Dr. Pepper pulled Pork!

Very good! Made with half a head of red cabbage and cut it a bit bigger. Used it to top off soft tacos made with flour tortillas and your Spicy Dr. Pepper Pork. My husband said I outdid myself on that one! Loved it!

Great recipe, I left out the cilantro by accident and will try it next time. I feel like it needs horseradish added to it.

This was gone in a day, which is rare in my home when it comes to cole slaw

Update: The culinary team has changed the amount of green and purple cabbage to 1 head, reduced milk to 2 cups and mayonnaise to 1 cup.

Wonderful taste. I used bag slaw and cut milk to 1 cup. Still too soupy. Will cut back to 1/2 cup milk next time. Loved it and the spicy pop pulled pork. The chili sauce you make to mix in the pork was awesome. I had zero leftovers of both which is rare. Adjust milk if you are using bag slaw. I also added a red onion finely sliced. Yum. Will make again soon.

I made as directed and it wasn't good ... even after draining off all the excess liquid; seemed to taste like it had too much mayo... I'll stick to KFC for slaw from now on! LoL

I made this tonight, but I didn't have any cilantro or jalapeno, so I left them out. That being said, it still lacks flavor for me. The dressing is decent, but I prefer a touch more sweetness to my slaw. I did follow some other reviews though and adjusted the amounts. I used a bag of prepared coleslaw mix, 1/2 c. each mayo and milk, and kept the remaining ingredients the same (minus the jalapeno and cilantro, and I thought the ratio was perfect.
The heat from the jalapeno may have helped, but I'm not convinced it would have made up for the very mild flavor, and the same is true for the cilantro.
I have really enjoyed the other recipes from the PW that I've tried so far, I was just not "wowed" by this slaw, or the spicy pop pork that she served it with.

This is a good recipe only it is off in a few ways. # 1- WAY too much liquid. #2- Under seasoned, in my opinion. I fixed it right up by draining the excess liquid off and adding more of the seasonings she used but also added some thinly sliced onion, garlic powder, and lemon juice. I will make this again with my alterations so all in all, its a keeper.
