This really is not a standalone salad. It needs to accompany the stuffed chicken breasts that were in the same episode. Without it, I would rate it one star. Anne has some great wilted salad recipes but this is not one of them.

I could tell by the ingredients that something was going to be off with the flavor. Like the other reviewer, it is a bit pungent. It suggests to adjust seasoning as needed, but I’m not sure how you would do that.

I was told my former review was inappropriate and needed to be redone. This dish was not tasty. After sautéing the garlic, and adding the vinegar ... stand back ... there is a huge gas cloud of steam and oil. The resulting dish was too vinegary ... best thing in the dish ... the rasins and pine nuts.

My 13 year old daughter loves the food channel but is more of a couch potato than a cooking potato. Last night she was starved and begged me to take her to Mc Donalds where she bought Chicken Mc Nuggets. This morning she watched your show and decided she wanted to cook your meal and I was totally supportive. We grocery shopped for all the ingredients and we created an unbelievable meal. She did it all and is so proud of herself and it is a keeper forever. The escarole under the chicken is so wonderful... I never heard of you but Anne this is a winner winner and my daughter has a video school project documenting her preparation of this meal. Yum Yum and thank you for encouraging her to cook your dish. This is a total winner people. And I am a new fan Anne.
