This recipe is what it is, good, sweet and rich. My very finicky co-workers demand these for thier individual birthdays. Good job!!

I expected a better cocoanut flavor to the cookie. My cocoanut was fresh from the store. Don't know I'd do it again without some changes. Perhaps there should be extract in the cookie.

I made these for dessert one Sunday afternoon and I thought my brother died and went to heaven. He just raved about the flavor of these whoopie pies and every one else did too. These are definitely staying in my recipe collection. Thanks for the fab receipe Paula.

My 9-year-old daughter made these after watching Paula's show. She made the smaller version. They were such a hit that her brother asked her to make them in place of a birthday cake for him and a neighbor has asked her to make them for a baby shower. Now how can you beat that?

I love coconut and wanted to enjoy the recipe that I saw on the show...but the filling is WAY to much butter...looking for light, creamy fluffy and got a stick and a half of butter! NOT an enjoyable filling...a whoopie pie consist of a filling that doeas not way the cake down but compliments...I missed the whoopie in this coconut whoopie pie....

These should be called "Better than Whoopie" Coconut Whoopie Pies! Paula has done it again. I too had to make these as soon as I saw the show. It put a smile on all our faces and will be added to our favorites list. I made the Whoopie scoops 1/2 in size to yield double the amount and keep them smaller. The filling is fabulous and put together makes an amazing dessert. Excellent for coconut lovers and good enough to convert the skeptics.
