WOW! Giada you never cease to amaze me. Just made this with both milk chocolate and white, one of my daughters has an aversion to milk chocolate. The BOMB! Rarely do I ever follow anyone's recipe to the letter. I tweak them all to fit mine and my family's tastes. But this one was spot on. Yummy is just not good enough. I'd give it ten stars if I could. I'm considering adding it to my gift baskets this Christmas. Thanks for this super tasty treat!

I didn't have an orange so I replaced it with 1oz. Baileys Irish Creme and 1tsp. vanilla extract. It was FANTASTIC!! It would make an excellent hostess gift and it's not too expensive.

It was so easy to make and the taste was amazing!!! The second batch I made I added some Khalua!! It was amazing the next day and my friends love it!! Good Christmas item to bake!!!!

i was scared to start this recipe, but it was so easy. i used milk chocolate chips instead of semi sweet. i also used pecans instead of walnuts. it is a perfect decadent dessert and everyone liked them. good job giada and thanks.

All I can say is WOW ! SO easy to put together for such a yummy dessert . It's almost like fudge but so much more easier to make. I omitted the orange zest since I'm not a big fan of orange and chocolate together and it still was amazing ! We ate one log and I froze the other one , which is a very convenient feature of this recipe. A definite keeper in my recipe box and I will be making it often !!

Very easy to make & a delicious decadent result. I switched up the items I put into the log - Giada said to use whatever you liked - so I used dried cherries, pistachio nuts & graham cracker chunks - it came out great! Used the zest of an entire orange & it was still subtle. I took it to a party & everyone loved it & asked for the recipe. I substituted the coffee for cream, as I don't like coffee chocolate.

Never thought of litle balls! My son is allergic to peanuts so we cannot use biscotti, which is usually processed in a facility with peanuts. So we just used extra treenuts--pistachios and almonds. The aftertaste of salt takes it to another level. On our food allergy fb page--Peanut Anaphylaxis Cure--I recommended to members who have treenut allergies to use pretzels. Will give them the other food allergy substitutions as well. Thank you! This is faster than the cherry pistachio tart--which we alter with a homemade shortbread cookie crust, a layer of caramel and then the chocolate pistachio mix topped with more pistachio. Two amazing recipes that allow you to substitute what you don't like (cherries or what might kill you. THANK YOU!!!

Having a 5-yr-old g'daughter who is allergic to dairy, eggs, and nuts, it is hard to bake for her. I have dairy-free chocolate and dairy-free butter substitutes, but I had to omit the nuts and biscotti and use only safe cookies (mini oreos w/o harmful eggs in it already. I then added in mini-marshmllows, egg-white free of course; the specks of white from the cookies and marshmallows gave it a real authentic look of salami when cut open.

This delicious and so easy to make! I made it for a super bowl party and it was devoured. I saved the second salami in the freezer and took it out last night for an impromptu dinner party and again, rave reviews! Completely gone. In fact, one of my guests asked if he could take all the remaining peices home with him....how could I refuse? This is something to make and keep in the freezer for when you need a quick something sweet to serve....

Okay, these are melt in your mouth delicious!! Instead of making the cookie logs, I made round balls instead, and dipped them into the powdered sugar. I didn't use the biscotti cookies. I used Giada's famous chocolate chip cookies. Also used pecans instead of walnuts. I will be making these again because these are wonderful. Thank you Giada....you're the best!!
