Awesome. With the reduction of heat from chipotle.

This sauce is very good! I only had about two tablespoons of chipotle peppers and I am glad of the fact, lol, the sauce was warm, but that is good. I will use this sauce again, maybe reducing the sugar a bit. Just a personal preference. Thanks Ree for another great recipe!

Fantastic homemade BBQ recipe. I used Local Folks Foods Ketchup and since I didn't have an onion, I used chives from garden. I also added some honey and left out the Worcestershire. It's spicy And sweet, just how I like it. Great recipe to play with and make your own.

This recipe was very easy to make, and I liked seeing that there were onions in it. I didn't enjoy the overpowering molasses flavor, and the general the flavor was mediocre. I prefer the Neely's barbecue sauce recipe, and I wouldn't want to make this again.

Love this sauce! Terrific on chicken - I used it as a last minute base for salad dressing and was pleasantly surprised...

Great sauce.... however
IT IS HOT!. I, making it for the first time stayed true to the recipee. In the future, and for anyone who is not a chili head, I will cut down on the chipotle, maybe by half. This being said the heat is needed to counter act the sweetness of the sauce.

Delicious! Whipped this up real quick to make a bbq pizza. It definitely has some KICK. So if you don't like spicy things or prefer something more mild than cut back on the chipotle peppers (maybe 1 T won't be too spicy or you may just want to omit it all together. My husband and I love spicy things so we enjoyed this recipe kicking back at us a little.
