YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!!! This soup was fantastic! Being from Louisiana, my hubby used a little cayenne instead of red pepper flakes. Plus, my hubby hated tomatoes before this soup but I think he converted after this soup. Not only did he have one bowl, he had two...lol! This will be a new staple in out little country kitchen. Good job Jeff and we look forward to whatcha gonna cook next.

This was amazing! For a dairy free option, I pureed a can of white beans with the soup in my blender to make it creamy. This packed it with protein and it was fantastic! Even my picky 6 yer old loved this.. thank you!!! The red pepper added great kick. I was never a tomato soup fan but I will double the batch next time and freeze if for nights I don't want to cook.

Husband and I both give this a thumbs up. Delicious! The red pepper gives it a perfect punch.
I made the sandwich from the restaurant you visited and will do yours Thurs with leftovers. I made the grilled cheese with tomatoes, bacon, and 3 different cheeses.
    Thanks!

Easy and so tasty. Best homemade tomato soup. I added a little extra chicken broth as it was very thick and increased the cream by 1/4 cup or more. I think next time I will try half and half to cut a little fat. This one is a keeper. Now I have to try it with the french onion grilled cheese. YUM!!!!!

So I usually don't like anything to do with tomatoes, but the roasting of them changed my mind! It was so good! Thanks for the awesome recipe and changing my mind! Great job! I threw the soup in my blender when all said and done because I like it nice and smooth!

LOVED this one! Easy and affordable with great flavor. This recipe is easily 'tweaked' to individual taste and by adding a few ingredients (or not ie., bay leaf, celery, an even greater depth of flavor is achieved. I'll check out this young man for more 'doable' recipes.
