EXCELLENT! I've made this recipe a few times now and it's become my go-to for any recipe that calls for meatballs! I love the fact that you can get several meals out of this 1 recipe too. I make the 4 sandwiches (minus the giardiniera for dinner and then get about 36 nice size meatballs from the remaining mix and freeze them for later! Love Jeff Mauro!

I'm giving this a 5 because it looks so good. Hey, it'NCAA Final Four Weekend and I'm making this sandwich for the party.

This recipe is fantastic and fun! I've grown up with Italian cooking and homemade meatballs most of my life. It is RARE that my family and I venture out into unchartered meatball territory, but the Sandwich King is someone we have learned to love and trust. His personality is top notch. We DVR him! This isn't just a review on the meatball sandwiches, which are a great spin on my family's old recipe, but I wanted to personally write a review for Jeff Mauro because I want him to stay on the network as long as possible. (Just a side note: this is the first review I have ever written. It was worth it that much.

Jeff must know my Italian grandmother because this is the REAL DEAL right here! Don't change a thing!!! Use the best Peccorino Romano you can get your hands on -- and stick to Jeff's ingredients as posted -- don't swap up the meats (i.e. diff't ratios of beef to pork and you'll have yourself an experience that will leave you wanting more -- I can't wait to try the RB Au Jus! Another phenomial-looking recipe! Sandwich King is one of our family's food network favorite chefs!!! We love putting our favorite meals to a sandwich and Jeff always gives us a new twist to make what we love about homestyle but turned up a knotch!

I came into this recipe a little ill-prepared, only having ground beef. I followed the recipe sans veal/pork. My husband refused to put all the yummy stuff on top; but said it was the best "burger" he had ever eaten. I used all the trimmings and it was delicious.

Good Sandwich. I made it thick like Jeff did, and it was too thick. I made it like the lady made it, using her portions, and it was fantastic. I do prefer using the stale bread instead of the bread crumbs. Was much more juicy with the stale bread.

Great tasting!!! We have made this several times already. Make the giardiniera, it's well worth the time.
