fantastic! I made as the recipe states and served over a multi-grain rice. It was just a little spicy, but not too strong for the average palate:. My husband loved it and said it was one of the best meals I had ever made. It was also super easy. Victory!!

I grew up with an Italian mother, but never heard of this recipe until I saw it mentioned on a rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond. I had to try it. I was not disappointed. I wanted a lot of sauce to dip the foccacia, so like the previous reviewer, I used a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes. I substituted beef stock for water and added some basil. Next time (and there will be one, I will double the pepperoncini. Marie's got nothin' on me.

This recipe was super easy to follow and make. I've already made it twice in two weeks. The sirloin steak turns out so tender and flavorful. I like sauce, so I ended up using an entire 28oz can of the crushed tomatoes - it was excellent. I also like more spice, so I added in extra red pepper flakes. The only other change I made was I decided to cut the steak up in chunk/cube pieces rather than against the grain as the recipe directs. I will definitely be making the recipe again! Thanks Food Network Magazine.

Delicious and super easy to make. I chose to try it because it was low calorie, and I'm so glad I did.
