OMG!!!! Gotta tell ya....this was sooooo gooooood! :- Had this yesterday for a birthday celebration dinner and EVERYONE LOVED IT!! This was actually more of a hit than my delicious pork roast! Already I have to make several more batches for friends and family. Thank you so much for this "pleasant surprise"!!!

This is great and so easy to make. I added English Toffee bits and peanuts for more of a crunch. A little sweet, but taste great.

Simple and Yummy! It's a rainy day here so I was a bit concerned that the humidity would cause a problem, but it couldn't have turned out better! Thanks Trisha!

We haven't been able to find it. This past weekend I turned on food network at Trisha was making this with two special boys in her life.Thank you Trisha I now have this recipe and will be making them with my special girls and we will be thinking of their mother the whole time.

i haven't tasted them yet- they are in the freezer but..boy o boy, what a mess. i made 2 batches and my caramel did not spead like Tricia's did- they moved all over and most ended up under the crackers. choc did not melt so i too put it back in the oven. that helpd - but again- not easy to spread and the crackers moved all over the cookie pan. what went wrong??? will have to see if they taste good- otherwise- will not repeat this again.

Excellent! Whipped this thing up in no time. Taste like a Twix bar. I've already thought of my different variations. Crack (as you called it is good!

This recipe was an epic fail for me. There was not enough butter/sugar sauce to cover the crackers. I didn't know what I was supposed to watch "carefully" for. The chips did not melt. And it wouldn't come off the pan. What the heck? I'm a good cook and this just didn't work.

My mother used to make this recipe years ago when I was a child. She used to carmalize white cane sugar and she used a little vanilla extract in it. I never knew the exact proportions of ingredients, so I was without this wonderful tasty recipe for years until Trisha brought it back into my life. It is better than I remember! I now add crushed dry roasted peanuts on top of the chocolate and sprinkle sea salt on top of that. Thanks to Trisha for bringing back this long lost treasure...

Reminds me of English toffee and Heath Bars. Easy and delicious,
