Try cooking peanuts in a pressure cooker. Tastes just as good and doesn't take as long to cook.

I did this from scratch - from buying green peanuts to manually slipping off the skins after they were cooked. It was worth it. I love hummus so just had to try this w/ one of my favorite southern snacks. Try it - you won't be disappointed!
