So far I have given all of Trisha's recipes the same rating: good but not great. Perhaps I have been spoiled in the past with several superb Pot Pie recipes in my cooking arsenal.
This recipe falls slightly short of perfection but has potential. I liked the creamy filling, especially the celery seed, but I think adding a diced rotisserie chicken would have done wonders for the flavor of the entire pie. I would have given this recipe a 5 star rating but my family unanimously voted 4 stars, and after all, as with most families, they are our greatest food critics!

Major hit. Comfort food to the max! Husband loved it! Great as is or there are endless possibilities for additions. Will make this over and over again.

This chicken pot pie is incredible! My daughter loves chicken pot pie and this receipe, by far, is her favorite. I added chicken to this chickless pot pie. Thank you Trisha!!

That was the best food I ever made. My kids loved it...im not a lover of chicken lol...but now I can make the chickless Pot Pie love it! Going to make one for a friend...thanks Trisha for the recipe :

Omg! Delicious! I didn't have celery seed & used chicken broth & a little bit of roasted chicken I had leftover. I will be making this again! Thanks Trisha! I just love your new show. Can't wait to try your families "crack" recipe next! (:
