Have always been intimidated by quiches. Saw Trisha make it one Sat. morning and thought it looked easy enough. I made it, only used Italian sausage and didn't have any grape tomatos so I sliced regular tomato thinly and placed in the bottom of the pie crust. Man, that was so easy and it was a great hit...it was even better the next day! Next time gonna try substituting leftover turkey breast (chopped up and some sauteed portabellos for the sausage...

We loved this quiche. I used hot sausage and also added 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk and some onion. It was even better reheated the next day! Simple and delicious recipe.

Trisha, thank you for suggesting other ingredients to use in your recipes. If you invite me to lunch, I promise to leave a clean plate! Your music in the Baby in the Band was very good; keep on singing. Your voice is beautiful and loved by everyone including your husband, Garth! Thanks a bunch! Love, Kathi

Yummy! Freezes perfectly!!! I was a bit nervous when I have to put the mixture into the two pie shells. I didn't think it was enough mixture- but then remembered the baking powder that made it rise. Very delicious and easy!

The first time I made this, I didn't have a pie shell so I improvised and used tortillas. Just one on the bottom. It crisped up the sides that were showing and the rest was just warm. My boyfriend and his friends love it. So it's a major addition to my cooking!!!! Thanks Trisha love your Show. I've made tons of the things you do and have put my own twist on all of them!!!!

I have always loved quiche, but this was a very big disappointment. We found it heavy and rather bland. I also did not like the texture. I will not make this again, but will go back to using half and half and more seasonings. Sorry.

Saw the episode with the country quiche Friday. Put it together and had it for dinner tonight. Loved it. I halved the recipe since it's just my husband and me at home and our fridge/freezer isn't big enough to hold a second one. When I poured it into the pie shell it didn't look wet enough so I poured a little more egg substitute into it. While it was cooking it smelled wonderful.The only negative thing I would say is that the bottom of crust was very soggy, while the rest of the crust seemed perfection.

Love this recipe!!!! Made a few changes based on other foodies reviews and this is what I did;
I used 9 eggs, I added 1/2 tbl. of Tabasco to the egg mixture, I omitted the tomatoes (we are not tomato lovers for a 4oz. can of diced Ortega chilies. Other then that I followed the recipe as stated and it was fantastic! This one is a keeper
