Once I put this together, it reminded me of a cheese spread that a friend's sister always brings from South Dakota. I made this version a little more spreadable by adding some more mayonnaise and a little milk. Tasted just like the spread from South Dakota. Good on crackers cold or spread on bread and baked. If you have a bunch of little pieces of cheese or small amounts of grated packaged cheeses and don't know what to do with them, mix them together and make this spread. It is delicious either way.

This is absolutely delicious. Have made it several times. I use hard rolls, I kive alone and I make a bunch of of the topping and just pop a hjalf a roll in the oven most nights.

My husband and I love this recipe. He loves olives, we both love cheese---this is heaven. I followed the recipe exactly and it was so yummy! Have been making it at least once a week. I usually half the loaf and use enough mix for that portion and save the rest in a container. It stays good for days---gets better tasting as the days go by. Of course it doesn't stay in the fridge for long:

I made this last week end, just because it looked sooo good. My husband & I snacked on it while chillin and grillin on the front porch! I will play around with it & try different ingridents today for the football games, GO TEXANS!

This recipe is the bomb! We are olive freaks so when I saw this I knew I had to try it. I only bought a small can of black olives and found that wasn't enough so added some kalamatas I had in the fridge. I used an Italian loaf and it was way too much for us so divided it and froze the rest after wrapping pieces in wax paper and then freezer bag. I can see myself putting the filling into a baking dish and baking, serving with veggies and slices of bruschetta.
