All I can say is WOW! Made this for Labor Day and I am serving it again for 4th of July! Make sure you adjust the water!

i only got 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice out of my lemons and it was still awesome! I will be making this on a weekly basis.

We ran out of lemonade, but the left over strawberry syrup and berries were great on ice cream.

This was today's 2am insomnia project. It's fantastic! I made my strawberries earlier in the day, and kept them in the fridge for about 4 hours. I honestly have no clue how much water I used. I added the lemon juice, simple syrup, and just added water to taste. I left it a little tart, just because the strawberries will sweeten it up. SO good! Added bonus; the whole house smells like lemons!

Oh MAN this was good..when following the advise of other reviewers. Whether you like it sweet or tart (or not, it's easy to adjust. I infused the simple syrup with lemon peel and mint leaves. It gave the lemonade an interesting essences of mint without the annoying leaves that get stuck in your straw. I froze the lemon juice and simple syrup into ice cubes and served in as an icey by adding the water and the frozen elements to my Vitamix. I made adult ones, as well. The hit of the BBQ.

Great recipe, but as other reviewers have pointed out, it is a bit too sweet and acidic for our taste. I only used 1-1/2 cup lemon juice b/c that's what my 12 large lemons gave me, but it was more than enough. After tasting finished product, I added an additional cup water. Also, after straining strawberries and settting syrup aside, I puréed them in the blender with 2 tbs water and strained into syrup (just felt strawberries were too mushy to serve & didn't want to waste them and it was just the right consistency. Instead of serving with ice, I served with fresh frozen strawberries I had frozen prior to making recipe. Will definitely be making again.

I made this for my boys today. It's got great flavor, but the water needs to at least be doubled. Way to sweet.

I've made this twice now. First time I used only 1C lemon juice and the second time I used 2C lemon juice. Both times were good. My husband LOVES this drink. He doesn't like dessert so I like to make him this instead. Will be making this a lot ;
