    This was an easy cookie to make by scratch...I would make these for any occasion. Pretty goof-proof as cookie recipies go, and a hit with my family, not too sweet (easy on the icing and the cookie is soft and chewy.

    I made these cookies for a take-away treat for an upcoming get together. Had a few extra so I brought to the Women's club and let them taste. Oh wow, the 9 women that tasted said they were the best cookies they have ever tried!! My husband came home that same day and said the same exact thing! A real winner here! I topped them with pearl colored jimmies instead of the silver dragees, as personally I just don't like how hard those things are ;-. They looked beautiful with the pearl colored topping the butter color of the frosting!

    Today I did this receipt and they came out beautifully and delicious! It was very easy to make and the instructions were very clear. The frosting was so much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you for such a good receipt.
