Im pretty sure after cooking and eating this meatloaf tonight that Ree and I are going to get married and have beautiful meatloaf loving children!! BAHAHHAHAHA Not Really! But this was the best damn meatloaf I've ever had! My husband LOVED it so I got some cooking brownie points! Whoop Whoop! We have 6 children so I doubled everything so I could have leftovers tonight! The only thing I omitted was the parsely because Im from south GA. and that green stuff only goes on a plate to make it look pretty!

Agreed-delicious and very filling. Stuck with your ingredients and did cook a bit longer thanks to other reviews. Baking on the roasting pan was a great tip-thank you for always teaching me new tricks and delicious meal ideas for my family.

I've tried many meatloaf recipes and this one is the best one yet. I didn't put the glaze on but served it on the side since I didnt want chewy bacon. My kids gobbled it up.

My family just enjoyed your meatloaf for supper. My 10 yr. old daughter who has Celiac disease saw this on your show & asked me to make it for her. Using her gluten-free bread, a 3 lb. roll of turkey, and Paula Deen's house seasoning, we were able to give her something she has been craving for a while. She always ate meatloaf with brown gravy, but we haven't been able to perfect a gluten-free gravy that she likes. Thanks to you, we have a "new, old" comfort food for all of us to enjoy.
We have already fixed her 2 lunches to freeze & take to school. Even my 15 yr. old son who only eats pizza and steak nachos (meat, cheese,& chips only asked for seconds!
I did have to cook my meatloaf for 1.5 hrs since I used 3 lbs. of turkey. The bacon & sauce turned out great. I'm glad I doubled the sauce recipe!

I haven't made meatloaf in years. When I saw this I thought I'd give it a try. It was soooo delicious. I didn't have the wet bread running throughout and also doubled the sauce recipe. DELICIOUS. I may even triple the sauce next time - we all loved it (family of 6.

Due to a rainy day, the steaks I planned for 4 guests were put aside and I made this meatloaf instead - no one missed the steaks! I really struggled while putting it together to not add at least onions and bell pepper, if not garlic, but decided to give it a fair shake as is. It seemed to me to be very like the meat ball recipes I've seen rather than a meatloaf. We all kept marveling at what WASN'T in it - and yet it was great! My four-year-old slurped his up as well. Mine cooked in the time suggested, but I would also double the sauce to have more at the table to serve. I think those who had wet bread running through theirs might need to get the bread more moist before starting, and mix a bit more thoroughly. (Also made the pie crust for my cobbler with great success...

Made this tonight and my husband and I just loved it!! The sauce on the top was a tad too sweet, so I may back off on some of the brown sugar, but it was soo good. The soaked bread kept it nice and moist and the whole thing filled my kitchen w/ yummy aromas while it was baking! Mmm Mmm Good!

Everyone liked this recipe, especially the sauce. Next time I will put more of the seasoned salt for added flavor. Also, everyone said the bacon would be better if crispy so I'll put the meatloaf in the oven without the sauce for the first 15 minutes and then glaze it for the first time. As a few other posters wrote, I did have to cook it longer, about 1 1/2 hr total cooking time. I'll definitely make this again.
