Not sure what went wrong here, followed recipe exactly. I poured it out, gross. I think this is the first and only recipe of Ree's that has flopped for me. Not sure if it's just my personal taste or something that I did, but it definitely lacked flavor -besides the flavor of olive oil.

We love it! Such a healthy dressing. I use really good olive oil and I use the juice from only one fresh lemon. We love garlic, so I add three cloves mashed a bit. It does thicken up in the refrigerator, but I just set it out prior to using it for a bit. Thank you for sharing.

I followed the directions to a tee and mine coagulated big time. I think I would rather have a lemon juice amount instead of juice from 2 lemons .. big, small, juicy, dry? It was way too lemony. I have added more than twice as much oil as it called for and way more sugar and it still is too lemony. Next time I will use vinegar. I like Willow65's idea to use it as a chicken marinade. I may try that too. Thx for the idea Willow.

First time making this. WAY too much lemon, almost made me tear up. 2 lemons juiced produced about 3/4 to 1 cup of juice. I'd back that WAY down, maybe to 1/4 cup. I am going to try to dilute it with oil and see if I can improve it.

From a country boy and somebody who is not going to cook this, but is the man that cleans his plate. I have to say the first time I tasted it I was surprised that I ate my whole salad and went back for seconds. I did not have room for another steak or more of something else. I beg my wife for her to always keep a jar of this on hand. Your aunt is a genius. Your show is awesome. My wife and my mother inlaw loves to try out your recipes and I like eating the food they make. Just the other days they made some killer brownies that was on your show the other day. Delish!

I followed the recipe exactly and no I didn't use canned parmesean or garlic powder or lemon out of the bottle. I used all natural ingredients. It was way to lemony for my taste. I'm going to try the unused portion for a chicken marinade. I wouldn't recommend this recipe unless you really like lemon flavored salad dressing.

Sorry Ree, I agree with others. This recipe just didn't do it for me. I had to tweak it so much to give it flavor that it isn't the same recipe anymore. However, I love your show and many of your recipes. I'ld also like go plug your book, "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels, A Love Story". I'm reading it now and really enjoying it. For Pioneer Woman fans it's a must read:
