Truely the best thing I ever made. Had trouble finding the sazon but I did find a recipe to make my own and it worked just great. Used a rotisserie chicken and some canned chicken broth. Will make this again.

This was absolutely fabulous! I used a roaster chicken, which threw off the amount of chicken broth needed. Which I believe it why I had more filling. I watch the show again and believe the amount of broth to add to the filling may have been no more than 3/4 c. We all loved it. My family wanted more of the crust, so I may have to double the crust next time.

This was awesome! Due to a mishap at the store I didn't have the peppers to put in so I added a dash of cyanne. Still awesome but can't wait for next time to have the cerrano in there! My 3 year old loved it, even my picky 5 yr old liked it!

Fantastic new take on pot pie. Our small-town grocery did not have the right frozen veggies so I added some onion and black beans to best substitute I could find. I also could not find Mexican crema so I used 1/2 cup sour cream instead. It could probably have used a little more liquid based on the subs I had to make, but the flavor was fantastic. I had never used sazon before but it's a great flavor. If you like spicy food, it could handle another pepper but it had nice flavor this way. The homemade crust is easy and worth the effort based on the flavor profile. I only baked for 25 minutes and it was perfect.

Oh my goodness! This was so delicious! After I saw the episode, I made three of the dishes, and Sunny's pot pie was my family's favorite! I loved the kick of heat from the serrano pepper (I used 2 peppers and the sazon in the pie crust and filling was amazing. I do think there was a misprint in the cooking time of the pot pie. It says to cook for 20-25 minutes and it took 60 minutes. Do not hesitate to make this!

Yummmmmmy!!!! The only thing I did different was to add about a 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper to the filling. Everyone, including my 10 year old loved it.

My husband & I made this for dinner yesterday after seeing it on The Best Things I Ever Made. It's awesome. We added a pepper cut in 1/2 to the chicken stock for an extra kick.Next time we will double the dough recipe for a thicker crust. It's now one of my favorites!
