Loved this recipe!! I did it with a sweet potato and it was still VERY crispy. Not too oily for me but I probably did not put all of the oil on them.
This is a keeper.
Loved this whole episode, still waiting to try the burgers

OMG! my husband and I watched the show for the first time today and were just itching to get into the kitchen to try these potatoes. They were soooooooooo good. Jeff is my newest favoritest chef. Move over Paula what's your buttery name.
thanks for giving us another recipe to add to our repertoire.

These were awesome! The fresh herbs added wonderful flavor in addition to being very aromatic. LOVED IT!

I loved the crispiness when they came out of the oven, but that was lost when I added the garlic butter. I still enjoyed them, but my husband didn't. Next time I will try tossing the potatoes in the garlic butter, cooking them, then adding the fresh herbs.

Another awesome recipe!!!!. No grease on cook top and easy clean up. Read the reviews before I started and did turn oven up to 500 degrees. Still with high temperature there was no smoke etc in kitchen. Taste just like they were deep fried in oil but without the greasy mess.

Simply the best! Had a family dinner of burgers and fries and these were the hit! Butter--garlic--potatoes--it doesn't get much better. My 13 year old granddaughter took the leftovers for her lunch the next day. These are now the "go to" fries for burger night.

GREAT recipe! very crisp and flavorful. I used one 12 ounce russet for 2 of us. I put about 2 tablespoons of oil on the baking sheet and coated the potato spears - did not use more oil. I did the oven with foil for 5 minutes and then 10/10 - perfect. I used pressed garlic in melted butter and the herbs.

These fries came out so crispy for oven-baked fries. I always bake my fries, but usually use yukon gold, which never come out crispy. Using the russet potatoes really made a difference. I followed the instructions exactly and they came out really crispy and delicious. My husband said that these were the best oven-baked fries I've ever made. I didn't use the butter in the recipe, and instead just sprinkled with some salt at the end & they were absolutely delicious. Definitely a keeper!!
