I made this twice, thinking that I did something wrong. However, both times I truely did not like the flavoring. The cake was not that bad, even though it is not as dense as a pound cake should be. It is the syrup and the lemon curd that is way too strong-overkill is more like it! I usually love Emeril's recipes, however, this one fell a little short.

I was looking to make a trifle and
found a Lemon curd Trifle with fresh berries, made by Tyler Florence. the recipe called for a lemon pound cake. so I took this one from Emril and combined the two. It was very easy to make and it was a big hit! It's a perfect summer treat for a Sunday BBQ. Thanks guys.
