OMG ! THE BEST ! Everyone will love them! Make them today! I did add
nuts to the chocolate brownie batter and i used a family size box of fudge brownies. Enjoy!

This is the best brownie I have ever tasted. I've made them several times for different events and always get asked for the recipe.
Add nuts to the brownie mix and it takes it up a level.

Very good next time I will add a layer of nuts. I saw this on the paula deen show I made them that way which also used a fourth of a cup of water in the brownie mix. Turned out great!!

Made these as is and were great, but then in a pinch one day did a short cut-Brought premade chocolate chip dough from dairy case and a brownie mix. put peanut butter cups on top of the cookie dough and then poured the brownie mix on. Excellant!!!!!
Other items I have added are peanut butter chips , cut up snicker bars, andes thin mints, hershey bars, coconut/ pecans and mini chips. Always a big hit !!! Thanks Paula.

Truely decadent! Paula put the chocolate chips in between the layers, which I did. It made for easier spreading of the cookie dough in the pan. After reading the reviews, I decided not to search for a 6.5 oz. brownie mix, which I do think is a typo. I used a 19.5 oz. mix and followed what was on the box for oil, water and egg. The brownies came out delicious!

This was a tasty cookie bar recipe, but make sure you cut them into bite sized squares because it is definately rich! Also, I couldn't find the 6.5 oz brownies either; I used a 19.5 oz box & they turned out just fine! The only difference in measurements was the recipe states to use 1/3 c oil & the brownie box states using 1/2 c oil. The recipe still turned out delicious w/o the hassle of trying to find a 6.5 oz brownie mix!

I made these brownie bars they were awesome just a little sweet lol but thats what I love so I would make these all the time for every event that we had. I made them for the upcoming Memorial day weekend and they are already gone from the family members already here. So I am going to make some more. Thanks Paula Deen :-

This is the first of Paula's recipes that I didn't love. They are tasty but definitely not great. Also for the life of me I could not find a 6.5 oz brownie mix even after looking at three stores. For the effort and calories I will stick to another recipe next time.

Holy wow these are sweet goodness! I'm gonna have to make these brownie BITES not BARS, it's almost too much to handle. Here's what I did. I made the cookie part per the recipe, but I didn't want to use a box brownie mix. So I found "Everyday Brownies" on this website and made that. But I also added a thin layer of caramel sauce (search "Easy Caramel Sauce"; used 1/2 recipe between the cookie and brownie layers. What a sinful treat!
