I actually made these potatoes based on the episode - Marcela said that if by any strange chance there are any leftovers these will make a kick-***** (I'm paraphrasing potato salad. So I made these with the sole intention of making potato salad out of them. A little extra time and effort, but holy smokes she was right. This potato salad is righteous. The chipotle seasoning at the local grocery is a bit pricey, but you don't need a ton so it's worth it. I will be making these again fo sho!

Great recipe! I did change the seasoning a little. I didn't have any cilantro so I didn't use it, and I only had a chipotle blend spice instead of just plain chipotle powder. I also didn't quite use as much oil because it really didn't seem to need it (I maybe only used 1.5 T but I used the same technique. I found my potatoes needed a little more time on the outdoor grill--it was probably 7-8 min. I just cooked them until they had nice grill marks. The potatoes were seriously incredible, and it was really an easy recipe. Definitely going to make this again!

Made this for the first time & really followed the recipe, especially the preparation of the potatoes before grilling. The grilling time on an indoor grill versus the time in the recipe can vary,as with my indoor grill it was approx 8 mins ,whereas recipe said about 5 minutes...but it all worked perfectly. The amount of chipotle was perfect as it gave it a nice kick yet it wasn't too powerful. The oil mixture gives the potatoes great flavor. Both a friend and mom loved them. YUMMERS! :

We followed the recipe to the letter. I was nervous that the second time through the oil mixture would make the oily but it really didn't. These were excellent. The chipotle was a nice touch as well for a little extra flavor.

These potatoes are Really Good!! I really enjoyed the flavor, crispy texture and ease of preparation. I didn't have red potatoes so I used russet and they held up with out falling apart but if I cooked them any longer in the boiling water they would have turned to mashed potatoes when I tossed them in the butter mixture. I will make these often.

These were very good. I used russet potatoes because that is all I had and we were grilling outdoors. I skipped the step of marinading a second time after grilling because I thought it would make the potatoes too oily. My 3 year old loved them. We made hers minus the chipolte. I also used the marinade on some summer squash and grilled it with the potatoes and they turned out very tasty. We will definitely make this again.
