I've made this again and again because my family keeps requesting it. I've also used the dressing on a "Cobb" salad that included pears. I highly recommend other cooks try this.

We loved it .... spectacular! I also added sliced chicken breast to the plate. The chicken and dressing were a perfect marriage! My husband said that I could invite him anytime.

Possibly the best salad dressing I've ever had!!!

It is a perfect combination of Bleu Cheese, and Sweet, and Tang. Absolutely perfect. The flavors all hit you at different times. It is delightful. This is a Giada 'out of the park' recipe. I followed the recipe to the letter.

My husband was skeptical of the 'pear' when I told him I was going to make it. Great guy that he is, he said he'd be game to try it. He almost drank the whole blender-ful before I put it on the salad - when I asked him to try it :

The salad itself - of course is flexible. I followed to the letter. (I might have added a few slivers of red onion.

For anyone looking for Pear Nectar... I found it in my "Mega-Mart" in the Juice aisle, right with the lemon juice and other juices. (Huge bottle... but it was so... worth it.

    Thumbs up!!!

I loved this dressing. It was so fresh and zingy..The butter lettuce is the best choice for this I added grilled shrimp, a little chopped yellow pepper and shelled pistachio nuts. This made a nice meal on a hot day. Making this again. Used leftover dressing to dip carrots and zucchini in...yum

    Yum!
I didn't have pear nectar or white balsamic vinegar so I substituted with pear juice and regular balsamic vinegar and it still turned out good. I think it could have been a little bit stronger but I think I'll just have to adjust it next time. I also added extra crumbled Gorgonzola on top of the salad for extra flavor. Can't wait to try it again!

My family loved this recipe! I used toasted pecans because I didn't have hazelnuts. Best dressing ever!

I used dried cherries and roasted walnuts for this salad. My husband loved the wedge, but we didn't find the dressing to be very flavorful. I used high-grade gorgonzola and white balsamic, but it still lacked a lot of taste. I love this idea, so I will just look for another version of this dressing to use.

Made it last night, along with the rib eye steak, mashed potatoes, shrimp (from the June 2012 LA Steakhouse episode.

    It was PERFECT!!!

This is the first time I made a dinner that felt like we were eating at a nice steakhouse.
