I actually just made the steak sauce, so I can't comment on the main parts of the recipe, but the steak sauce was ridiculously awesome. Smokey balsamic, sweetness from the roasted bell peppers, and a zing from the horseradish and Worcestershire. It was delicious on the steaks I made and it seems like it would go pretty well on just about anything.

Great recipe! Fathers Day I bought Angus NY steak almost 2 inch thick. Saw this episode thought it would be perfect to make. I didn't tweak the rub but I did with the bbq sauce. I didn't have bell peppers so I used sundried tomatoes in olive oil. Let me tell this is one of his best steak recipes. While cooking down the balsamic vinegar the smokey smell started to fill my house. I gave my husband the day off from the grill eventhough he kept looking over my shoulder to make sure I knew what I was doing and that I didn't burn down his charcoal grill. Told him to back off (in a nice way, I've grilled before and I know Bobby Flay's method. He was impressed with his steak. YUM! Couldn't finish the big steak but had the rest today for breakfast.
