I have made this dish numerous times and those that I prepare the dish for absolutely love the tastes. I have had to not disclose ALL the ingredients (leeks to those picky eaters until after the dining experience to insure they do try something new. I have substituted crumbled bacon for the on occasion when pancetta was not available. Love the show!

This dish is delicious. While cooking the bacon and leeks my family couldn't wait for it to be done because the smell is so good! Try it, you'll love it!

Excellent-quick, easy, and delicious. My whole family loved this-even our pickiest eater. I added shredded meat from a store bought rotisserie chicken. Great for a busy weeknight, but I would also serve this to guests. I used 16 oz of pasta, so I doubled the pancetta, wine, and cream to make enough sauce for the extra pasta and chicken.

Family plowed through this one without any leftovers. Easy to make. Love the leeks! Would be nice with added chicken or shrimp, but fine by itself too. I doubled the cream too because I made it with 16 oz. pasta. Oh, and I just used regular applewood smoked bacon instead of the pancetta.

What an awsome recipe. DELICIOUS!!!!! The only thing is the direction are different then the show. I took out the bacon and did not cook the bacon with the leek. Added with the wine. Sent some to my daughter and she said she could not stop eating the pasta was so delicious. Please correct the instructions. LOVE LOVE your recipes. Simple & delicious.
