Meh. An upscale meatloaf for sure but in the end it's still meatloaf. Even the garlic sauce was underwhelming and I love garlic. I cut way back on the salt but doubt that made much difference. Regardless, the leftoevers are getting the full ketchup treatment.

Wonderful all the way around; texture, flavor, ease of assembly. The best part . . . that sauce! It would make an old shoe taste heavenly. The sauce is great over veggies or mashers as well! These will be staples in our household.

This is truly the best meatloaf that I have ever tasted. It's easy, full proof & delicious. The garlic sauce is so good that I could chug it down. Not really but it's that good.

My whole family enjoyed this Metloaf tonight. It was so delicious. Moist, on the inside with a crust on the outside. The garlic sauce is a great added touch to this meatloaf recipe.
I will definitely make this again. Thanks again Ina Garten for another Wonderful Recipe!!

It by far was one of the best meat loaves that I have made. It is simply and holds together without falling apart when you cut it. My family loved it.

    Make it better
I would leave out the celery.
I would leave out the panco bread crumbs.. also do not ever use oats, or italian bread crumbs either.
Use diced regular white bread. Simple sandwich white bread.
If you use a crusty bread- like baquette then use some of the milk as in this recipe-not as much- only enough to soften the crusty bread
if regular white sandwich bread- no milk
    Use Mushrooms- diced
    Use onion mushroom soup mix.
no ketchup or tomato sauce - no tomato anything on top either.
put a bottle of ketchup on the table
Now you have a Great meatloaf.... great for cold sandwiches later. on white bread with ketchup...

I love this meat loaf and the Garlic Sauce is over the top! I doubled the sauce and used half of it on home made pizzas. Yum!! My kids love taking left over meatloaf sandwiches to school. Another winner from Ina!
