This was amazing!! I love the kick that the nutmeg gives the dish! We are totally making this again. I did use half and half instead of cream in order to bring the calories down a little bit...it didn't compromise the taste or creaminess at all.

We made this a few times last fall and it was very tasty! Wasn't heavy as alfredo usually is! :

I made this for dinner tonight as written in the recipe. No one in my family was impressed with this dish. You can't taste the pumpkin and the flavor was just blah. I won't be making this again.

Love pumpkin, but this was pretty bland.

This is my favorite pasta dish, in fact one of my favorite
meals. Just add a salad and some bread and you have a perfect
    vegetarian meal.

Good, but could not really taste the pumpkin. I added a bit more pumpkin to the sauce but next time will try adding even more pumpkin. I agree to adding more salt and fresh ground pepper.

I added apple pork sausage to mine and it was delicious. Even my skeptical boyfriend liked it.

This is so delicious!! I added in about 4 fresh sage leaves with the shallot. Added a nice flavor. I also used 1/2 and 1/2 instead of heavy cream. This sauce makes regular (and in my case, cheap cheese ravioli taste like a million bucks! No need to buy the pumpkin ravioli...this tastes the same.

I made this for my husband and I last night and loved it! I took others advice and added extra pumpkin. I added a heaping 1/2 cup. I also doubled the Parmesan cheese. I didn't have freshly grated nutmeg on hand so I just used regular nutmeg, and added a generous pinch of it. The only other advice I would have is to make sure you salt and pepper well at the end. It really helped bring out the favors. Oh, and to really round out the meal, I added chopped spinach. You can't even taste it but it is a good way for me to get vegetables in my husband who is a picky eater!
