The perfect ginger cookie! I followed the directions exactly and baked for 10 minutes. The result was a delicious, crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, cookie. This recipe is perfect for a cookie swap; they look just like the picture too.

I love ginger cookies and this is the first recipe that I have tried. Very easy and delicious! I adding these to my Christmas cookie annual list. I only used sugar on the tops and still came out great.

Maybe the best ginger cookies I've ever made! They came out EXACTLY like the picture and are crispy and chewy and delicious. Nice and gingery and cinnamony.

These were great! Look just like the photo too. I doubled the recipe, adjusting for our high altitude with about 1/3 cup more flour, baking at 365 degrees. I substituted half of the flour with whole wheat pastry flour, and even my husband can't tell! They're nice and sturdy for gifts, and great looking too! Thanks, Jamie!

These turned out just as Jamie said...crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside...delicious! Because we live at a high altitude, I did add an extra 1/4c. flour and baked at 365 degrees.
