i had to completely add more milk than the recipe called for, but the overall taste was good; however, nothing like an upstate NY fritter!

TERRIBLE! Waste of time and money. Too dry & dense. Made these for my 89 yr old dad who loves apple fritters, wish i would've spent my money at the bakery instead. Tried to post with no stars, i only put ONE star because i had to.

I haven't made fritters in a while and thought these looked like a good, quick, week night dessert, boy was I wrong. Yes, they are quick and easy but taste HORRIBLE!! They're just way to dense. Oh, well back to Betty Crocker.

My Dad LOVES apple fritters! When I saw this recipe I knew I had to make them for him. Until now his signature Birthday/Father's Day dessert was pineapple upside down cake with triple "Goo". He would eat the rim all the way around the cake & save the rest for everyone else forcing me to make individual cakes in ramekins. These came out beautifully! The ultimate test will be when I take a batch to him next weekend. My boyfriend ate all the first batch! Ha-ha!

I watched Robert make these one night on rest. impossible, they really looked yummy. Tried them they were better than Paula Deans and R Ray's fritters.. Hats off Robert !
