This recipe was delish! What I did was get everything ready , and then put it in the fridge. By the time dinner was about to start, I just popped the potatoes in the oven. This recipe turned out exactly like it said it would! Even my mother ate it, and she is not fond of sweet potatoes.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! My daughter made these for Thanksgiving, and instead of having dessert, we all had seconds of the Soul Sweet Taters!

These sweet potatoes where fantastic. My girlfriend, who hates sweet potatoes, thought they were the best thing she's tasted and took some home with her. My nephew who only eats dinner rolls and mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving, could not stop putting them on his plate. I made one small adjustment to the recipe, I added a 1/2c. of heavy cream and 1/2c. of milk instead of 1c. of milk. The brown sugared pecans are awesome.

This is a fantastic Southern sweet potato recipe. Although I currently live in the North, I really miss my Southern food. This recipe brings me home. Bring it on Ree!

So Yummy! Made these yesterday for Thanksgiving and my family is already requesting I make them again at Christmas. Thanks Ree for another wonderful, family pleasing recipe!

FANTASTIC!! The 4 sweet potatoes weighed a lot more than 1 3/4 # so I had to adjust the recipe. Everyone loved it especially the yummy crunchy topping!!

Absolutely delicious! Cut the white sugar to only 3/4 cup because of the 'too sweet' review, other than that made everything according to the recipe. Family of 11 just loved it. Throwing out the canned candied yam w/marshmellows recipe and making this my new Thanksgiving sweet potato side dish! Thanks Ree! Aloha and Mahalo for the awsome recipe!

I made this for a potluck last weekend. Everyone raved about it and asked for the recipe. I did leave it in the oven about 15 minutes longer than the recipe called for, but I had added an additional sweet potato.

not a new recipe.. I been making these sweet potatoes for years and my step-mom for many years before me.. They're called Sweet Potato Delight from "A Taste of Oregon" cookbook, 1st published in 1980. and yes, they're awesome.
