Yummy - I also roast my chicken instead of poaching. Love the poppy seeds.

I absolutely love this recipe. I am NOT a cook! I even messed up and used dill seed instead of dried dill and it still was great. I also used Pita bread. It was great. Actually it's so good it's dangerous. I ate and ate and ate. So yummy you just want more. I highly recommend this to cooks and non cooks like me.

I looked tasty! I've been making this recipe for years, the only difference in mine, is that I roast the chicken breast(or turkey and I toast the sliced almonds on low in a skillet. I also add some other herbs and spices - (whatever moves me in the moment.

Problem fixer for the chicken. When making cicken salad I always put chicken in a pan of chicken broth about half way up the side of chicken. Bring to boil and turn chicken over. Turn off heat and cover, leave alone for about 15 min. Shred up chicken or dice. If you run into any not cooked chicken drop that dice or shred back in the broth and leave in for a few mins. or turn heat back on for a few mins. to cook pieces. Don't get me wrong I use grocery store rotisserie chicken a lot, but in chicken salad I don't like the rosisserie flavors competing with the things you add to the salad.

I have to agree with wannabechef... Chewy chicken does not make for a good salad. I shred a rotisserie chicken when I make it, now. Other than that... it is the BEST chicken salad. Try blending it all for a creamier salad like they serve in delis.

Pretty good BUT do NOT boil chicken for 45 minutes! I stopped mine at 35 and....chewy chicken! It would be 5 stars if not for the chicken jerky. Good flavors though.

Really good! I added dehydrated onions just for a quick fix because I love onions in everything. I asked my husband what it felt like to be Garth and he said pretty darn good. lol

I make the same but with cashews and minus the dill, but I am gonna try it your way, sounds yummy!! I love the grapes in mine, too. I just tossed them in one day and it so worked. Oh, we use Miracle Whip not mayo, sorry!!

Perfect easy lunch. I added dried cranberries too and less dill. Would make this again and will make it ahead .
