Angel Food cake and Strawberries How could you miss? I have been making a variation of this cake for years. Even people who say they don't like angel food cake love this cake... Thanks Ree.

Ree, you are such a wonderful and down to earth cook....We love everything that you have made on your show. This cake was so good and so easy. I was in a hurry and had to use a boxed cake mix but the outcome was just yummy...I am sure it is so much better from scratch. I also try and make everything from scratch as I love to cook and bake. Thanks for all the ideas and love your show...

I had a box mix in the pantry so when I saw this, I figured I would give it a go. I had a hard time getting my jello to set so I got rid of the mixture and started over. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of time so I followed the quick set method on the jello box, skipping the ice because the strawberries were frozen. I wasn't sure how it would be, but my husband DEVOURED it. He love, love, loved it. We ate it again the next day. I can't wait to make it again, hopefully I will be able to try it from scratch. Thank you for passing on the recipe!! Love watching your show, I DVR it every week :

Made this today for the people who don't like German Chocolate Cake for a family birthday. Use a really good store bought Angel Food Cake as I was in a hurry. People raved about how good this was.
