This is my first roll of any kind. Very easy preparation and it rolled up as advertised on the first time! (the towel is Mandatory! I am giving it only 3 stars because the cake had no depth of flavor and tasted mostly of icing. Perhaps more spices in the cake such as Allspice and Clove might bring this up a notch.

Use 3/4 cup flour, not the amount noted here. I also added the pecans to the filling. It was good.

I guess I should have read the reviews first. I didn't see the show. It turned into the biggest mess.I only had 1 cup of flour so cannot make another one.It was going to be my anniversary dessert.

I made this after watch the TV episode. Anybody besides me notice that the print recipe calls for 1/4 cup flour - on TV she used 3/4 cup. I used 3/4 cup flour - just right. I also used fresh cooked pumpkin instead of canned - which does not have the deep orange color that canned pumpking has. Should have added orange food coloring fotr a prettier outcome. Mighty good.

It is a keeper! We all like it and it is so easy to do. If it tears it is no big deal to fix it. Thanks.

WOW!! I can't believe you cook as good as you sing...(FANTASTIC!!
...And now I cook as good as you sing!! This is sooooo GOOD..love it!! Thanks...and LOVE YOUR SHOW...especially the bloopers at the end! Just make sure that you know that it's 3/4c flour as you say on TV when making the recipe instead of the 1/4c flour that's printed out.

Loved the Pumpkin Roll. Instead of putting nuts on top of the batter I put them in the filling then when cake was ready to be rolled all I had to do was turn pan upside down on powdered towel. Less chance of cake cracking since it was handled less.
