Love this pie. I've made it with both lemon and lime. If any of you have expierenced the sugary liquid on the bottom of your pie plate try using powdered suger instead of regular or bakers sugar.
Ms. Yearwood's show has become my favorite's to watch.
Have a great day everyone and happy cooking.

My whole family oved this easy and delicious recipe. The only thing I would change would be more filling so i am making one now with double the filling! ;. I only have enough lemons for 1 filling recipe so I am adding key lime juice for the 2nd. The best of both worlds. Thanks for the recipe.

I made this today for Sunday's Dessert, it was GREAT. They loved this pie. Yet it was soooooooo easy to make. I read some of the previous reviews, lime is a good idea. I will be trying that real soon as well. This is a keeper for me. Thank you Trisha for sharing, keep the recipes coming.

SO EASY AND SO DELICIOUS!! made this two weeks in a row with my 9 year old daughter and today she made a key lime version that is absolutely divine. It's so easy, you don't want to share the recipe because when people taste it they think it must be hard since it is so yummy!!! Our new fave pie recipe!!!!

EASY EASY EASY.....BETTER YET TASTY, TASTY, TASTY. NEVER HAD A LEMON PIE RECIPE THAT DIDN'T INCLUDE HAVING TO PRECOOK THE LEMON FILLING AND MAKING A PIE CRUST. THIS PIE WORKED UP SO QUICKLY I COULDN'T BELIVE IT. VERY VERY GOOD.

Wonderful recipe, this was the only pie my mother ever made. She did one thing that made it different and she called it Icebox Pie. Every thing is the same as Tricia's recipe except that she used Nilla Wafer Cookies whole with a few broken to fit the dish and fill in some of the spaces for the crust. Cover the bottom of the pie plate with cookies and then go around the side of the pie plate with the cookies standing up on their edge. Also makes a great Key Lime pie too, just substitute the same amount of lime juice as lemon instead! I'm sure the graham cracker crust would be good too.

This is my go to dessert! So easy and delicious. If you have a bigger crowd it doubles really well in a 9 in crust.
