I made this yesterday and I must say it was off the chain!! No one would ever know they were eating squash! If you skip Grandma Williams' secret of pressing out the excess water it is no one's fault but your own. Take you time. This is easy-peasy and oh so good! Thank you, Sunny, and thank you Grandma Williams! Now how about the recipe for the fried chicken we saw on the table? Thank you, again.

Yep; easy and tasty,. Thanks for sharing Grandma Williams and her squash pie. This is a keeper! Forgiving was correct as most frozen crusts come in a 2 pack. Used 3 large squash and the balance of ingredients, same. Made for 2 pies with that filling as 2 shells was all I had. Good, blenderdoes all the work and the hubs couldn't guess that summer squash was In it.

This is truly a fantastic recipe for people like me who dislike vegetables. My husband plants yellow squash every year and now I can fix something with them that we'll both enjoy. Thanks Sunny and Grandma Williams for sharing this recipe.

I love this recipe. I love squash and I got my grand children to try it. They had no idea they were eating squash until they finished it.
