My friends, family and I have a love hate relationship with these! We love them but they are so addictive! A great holiday treat!

I have made three batches of these yummy apps since December. My friends keep asking for them. I make them half with the parm cheese and half with brown sugar. I have a spicy brown sugar mix that I use too. So yummy!! If you want to try it the recipe is below.
Sugar Mixture:
1/2 cup (packed light brown sugar
2 tblspn ground ginger
2 tblspn ground coriander
1 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 tsp ground cayenne

I first heard of this recipe years ago from a Paula Deen's Home Cooking episode and after seeing it again on Pioneer Woman, I just had to try it. I followed Ree's recipe exactly (except placed them directly on a cookie sheet as I didn't have a rack and these came out PERFECT! My husband and I are addicted and cannot wait to make these for our next family gathering or potluck. Mouth watering just thinking about them!

I made these for a Christmas Party and everyone loved them and am making them for a Super Bowl Party today. They're easy, good, and I particularly like the brown sugar version. Such an interesting combination of savory and sweet. Love Ree's show, too.

I had these at a party and they were so good. I'm glad she told me you had the recipe. I found it and made them myself. What a hit - BUT you can't eat just one. Just try. Thanks Ree, always love your cooking!

Yum, Yum. I totally screwed up and forgot to put them on a rack, but did drain the bacon grease half way through. They still ate them all up!

LOVE THESE! I have one other tip: I use a Jelly Roll Pan and put a rack inside - that way the bacon grease doesn't go all over the place! Definitely making these alot!

These were AMAZING!! I used the brown sugar and have never seen anything gobbled up so fast. I took them to a New Year's party and adults and kids both loved them. Just be sure to place them on racks as they cook. They were super easy to make and I can't wait to have them again! Thanks, Ree!
