Made 180 of these for an open house I catered. A bit difficult at first to get the knack of wrapping Club Crackers loaded with grated fresh parm. but once a system was down it went fairly quickly. They turned out to be one of the hits of the guests appetite and also the hosts. Simple, delicious and and excellent product and not greasy as one might expect them to be. Ree, out of sight! Love your show and the family.

These were an easy appetizer to make and tastes great my husband loved them. I did a test run to see how they would be to serve for Christmas and they got 2 thumbs up from the family. I followed the recipe exactly and used both the parmesan and brown sugar and loved them both. I will definitely make theses again and again. I used center cut bacon and still had plenty to cut these strips in half. If you cook these as directed you will have no problems at all.

What a blast to the past. My Mom made these for cocktail parties, and I'm much older than Ree. It was so fun to try them again, and they were spectacular. I combined a little blue cheese and brown sugar (1/2 t. each and wowser, they were gobbled up. You definitely need to use the old fashioned Club Crackers and use a rack and slow cooking time, it helps "dry" them out. Thanks for bringing back some great memories plus a great recipe for "today".

Awesome!!! I have been making these for several years now and they are always a big hit. If you make them as the recipe is written you will not have soggy/greasy crackers. They will be crisp, flavorful and delish! Love the Pioneer Woman!

The rack is key...so they don't sit in fat. Screamin'. And I can see how a little cayan on the brown sugar ones would be great.

I just made four today to try, and was surprised how good they were. Mine were crispy all the way through. My only complaint is they are a little time consuming to make, but they are worth it.

Just made a fresh batch with brown sugar and grated cheese (parmesan & romano blend and they were out of this world delicious! I was a bit nervous due to some of the reviews but I'm so glad I made them. As others have said, I used a wire rack on top of a baking sheet and they came out crispy and not the least bit oily. Will definitely make these again! Thanks Ree!

This is an awesome recipe!!! The key to this recipe is to put them on a rack vs just on a tray! The bacon was crispy on both sides and it was very tasty. I will make them again.

Saw Ree make these on her show and had to try them. Put them in the oven and then read the reviews, the first few I read weren't good. My husband and I tried them right out of the oven after two hours cooking YUM, did turn them over on the rack and I'm cooking for an additional 30 minutes, we like very crisp bacon. Can't wait to try them after they have cooled a bit. VERY GOOD they will be one of our Christmas appetizers.
